Xstrata’s Ravensworth North Project  situated in the upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales specified Leverlinks on their Vee Belt drives for pumps and centrifuges.  This project is a total investment of $1.36 billion.

 

Pictured left is Leverlink’s Ismail Ravat (Manufacturing Coordinator) and Peter Healey (Manufacturing Foreman) checking out a small number of Leverlinks being shipped to the project for pump drives which range from 30kw-500kw.  The largest of these motors weight close to 5000kg which are mounted vertically overhead in the ZV configuration.
